Brief Update (June 2021)

At the start of the year I set myself a goal of playing 7126 MTTs with around a $50 ABI. This is how it's going so far:

I have run very well this year. SCOOP hit and I was on a pretty big upswing. So I gave myself the chance to win pretty big during SCOOP. I played $60 ABI with around a 3000 field size on average. Pretty much every day I had the chance to win $40k or more. In the end SCOOP finished breakeven for me but I feel very pleased overall because of the potential swings I could have encountered and also because I gave myself many chances to run deep and win a big one. This SCOOP I was very focussed on exercising everyday and trying to sleep enough. It all went according to plan and I even finished SCOOP in better physical condition that when it started despite playing around 600 MTTs!
 
Since then, things have continued to go well. I am over EV for the year so far in terms of $$$ won and I am behind in pace. I am coaching regularly and trying to stream every Monday during the morning/afternoon European time.
My ABI will hopefully continue to creep up alongside my pace and I am feeling good about making this my best year of poker to date.
